Animal Slippers

This is how to take your slippers and turn them into animals. Just cut out the shape of your favorite animal from a piece of white paper. Color it and decorate it with any art supplies that you have and like. Ask your mom to glue the animal onto your slippers with a glue gun. Then wear them Beautiful!

Harry Potter Wand

Buy a set of drum sticks. Using your favorite color of acrylic paint, cover the drum drumsticks with paint. Use a skinny brush to make other decorations with different colors. Top it off with glitter and foam stickers.

CAREFUL! Don't hit anyone with your wand.

Painted Birthday Cards

Let's say someone's birthday is coming up and you want to make something special for that person. What about a painted birthday card?

First you cut a piece of paper in half. Then you use water color paint to paint the birthday person's name. Finally, decorate the card. You may want to use other art supplies like glitter.

Pipe Cleaner Flowers

You need tissues and pipe cleaners and a cup or vase filled with water.

1. Wrap one pipe cleaner around the bottom of a tissue
2. Shape the tissue. Make it puffier or flatter.
3. Arrange all the flowers you've made in the vase.

Kid Tea Party

I've done this with my friends and dolls before. Each kid and doll gets a regular cup and plate along with any snack and drink that you like. Decorate the table (each kid can make a place mat) and set things up. You can even make place cards for kids and dolls.

Fabric Animals

Want a fun idea? How about making an animal out of fabric. I tried it once and you could too.

First you pick an animal that you can draw or that you have a picture of. Draw your picture of the fabric and cut it out. Decorate it with fabric markers or crayons. Put your new friends in a special place like a picture frame for safe keeping.
